Morf Privacy Policy

1. Introduction & Scope
UNAR Labs, LLC (“UNAR Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Morf (“Service”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when used by students, educators, schools, and other users globally. By using Morf, you agree to this Policy. This Policy applies to both free and paid accounts, as well as institutionally provisioned accounts.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: name, email, role (student, teacher, school), login credentials.
- Uploaded Content: documents and files you upload, including educational materials.
- Generated Outputs: accessible versions of your documents.
- Device & Log Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, usage logs.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, performance logs, error messages.
- Payment & Billing Information: for paid accounts, billing contact and transaction details.
- Cookies & Analytics Data: to remember preferences and analyze site usage.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and support the Service
- To support students and educators in accessing accessible educational materials.
- To improve functionality, conduct quality assurance, and perform internal research
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and security risks
We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell your personal data.
4. How We Share Information
- Service Providers: including hosting, storage, OCR, analytics, and support tools.
- Schools and Educators: when accounts are provisioned or managed by institutions.
- Legal Authorities: if required to comply with law or legal process.
- Business Transfers: if UNAR Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We maintain a list of subprocessors available upon request and provide 30 days’ notice of material changes
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Free Accounts: Uploaded files and outputs are deleted within 30 days.
- Paid Accounts: Data is retained for the duration of the subscription unless deleted by the user.
- Users and schools may request deletion of their accounts and associated data, which we process within 30 days.
- Feedback and anonymized usage data may be retained for internal analysis.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Morf uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember user preferences, and analyze usage. Users can manage cookie settings through their browser, but disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, and monitoring to protect your data. We conduct regular internal reviews and audits. While we take these safeguards seriously, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and schools within 72 hours of discovery.
8. Student Data & Education Compliance
Morf complies with applicable education privacy laws:
- COPPA: Accounts for children under 13 require verified parental consent, unless provided by a School.
- FERPA: When used by institutions, Morf acts as a School Official, using student data only for educational purposes.
- No Targeted Advertising: We do not use student data for targeted advertising.
- Limitation of Use: Student data is used solely to provide the Service and ensure accessibility.
9. International Users & Data Transfers
For users outside the United States, including Canada, the EU, UAE, East Africa, and Australia, data may be transferred and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards to ensure lawful transfers.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to:
- Access and receive a copy of your data
- Correct or update your information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Data portability (where applicable).

11. Children’s Privacy
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. Accounts for children under 13 require verified parental consent or school authorization consistent with COPPA. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without proper consent.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Your continued use of Morf after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
